چکیده

We present the study of the WH and ZH search with the Higgs Boson decayed to bb̄ at the Large Hadron Collider. The Higgs Boson and the Vector Boson are required to be boosted, and the Higgs Boson is reconstructed with Jet Trimming Technique. The statistical significance for 30fb−1 data is 4.5 σ, which is comparable to the previous result [6].

Optimization of selection and data-driven background estimation for the boosted di-Higgs to 4b final state search

This paper presents the optimization of a search for a new heavy resonance decaying into two boosted Higgs bosons, with two bb pairs in the final state. This search employs novel track jet b-tagging in order to increase signal efficiency previously limited by b-tagged R = 0.4 calorimeter jets. The analysis also utilizes a data-driven background estimation in order to predict gluon splitting bac...

Using the RunII DØ Detector

A search for dijet resonance production in a four-jet all-hadronic final state from the DØ detector at Fermilab’s Tevatron is presented. The data set, acquired at a pp̄ center-of-mass energy of √ s = 1.96 TeV, contains primarily multijet events and represents approximately 1 fb−1 of data. The cross section limits for associated Higgs production and Technicolor processes are determined through a ...

Measuring the Higgs-bottom coupling in weak boson fusion

We study Higgs production through weak boson fusion with subsequent decay to bottom quarks. By combining jet substructure techniques and matrix element methods in different limits we motivate this channel as a probe of the bottom-Yukawa interactions in the boosted regime. In particular we ameliorate the “no-go” results of cut-and-count analyses in this channel. After applying a data-driven reco...

Boosting the Direct CP Measurement of the Higgs-Top Coupling.

Characterizing the 125 GeV Higgs boson is a critical component of the physics program at the LHC Run II. In this Letter, we consider tt[over ¯]H associated production in the dileptonic mode. We demonstrate that the difference in azimuthal angle between the leptons from top decays can directly reveal the CP structure of the top-Higgs coupling with the sensitivity of the measurement substantially...

Weight Trimming and Propensity Score Weighting

Propensity score weighting is sensitive to model misspecification and outlying weights that can unduly influence results. The authors investigated whether trimming large weights downward can improve the performance of propensity score weighting and whether the benefits of trimming differ by propensity score estimation method. In a simulation study, the authors examined the performance of weight...
